Nutritive soft mucilage fibre
Slippery Elm is a North American native tree. It has been used as a popular herb for centuries by the Native Americans. The inner bark of the slippery elm contains a large amount of mucilage which is nutritive to intestinal tissue.
Suggested use:
Take 1-2 tsp of slippery elm up to three times daily. Stir briskly into water or fruit juice and drink immediately before it thickens. If desired add honey, sweetener, cinnamon or nutmeg to taste.
